Legislation for Spring 2022

In February 2022, Defra will introduce GB-wide measures for Scolytus morawitzi and Polygraphus proximus following a Pest Risk Analysis and a consultation for each pest. It will also adjust existing requirements for other pests, such as the Oak Processionary Moth. Please refer to this Q&A document for more information.

The WTO have been notified of these new measures (see this supplementary information) and the most urgent will come into force in March 2022.
