Plant Healthy training modules now available

Training modules based on the Plant Health Management Standard have now been published on the Plant Healthy website.

The modules, developed by Charles Lane (Fera Science Ltd), Celia Knight (Royal Society of Biology) and the HTA, funded by Defra, are now available as pdf documents covering: Regulations and Controls; Harmful Organisms and Pest Risk Analysis; Pathways of Introduction and Spread; Good Biosecurity Practices; and Training and Recognition.

The Plant Health Management Standard, published in 2019, sets out key requirements for plant health management for horticultural businesses including commercial nurseries, plant retailers, landscape management businesses and public gardens.

The Standard is the technical document that the Plant Healthy Certification Scheme is based on.
