UK climate-pest risk web tool

To aid in Defra's response to pest outbreaks, the UK Met Office and Defra's plant health specialists have been collaborating on a climate-pest risk web tool. Developed by the Met Office Hadley Centre with input from Defra’s plant health risk and horizon scanning team, the tool uses up-to-date climate data and models to estimate and map indicators of risk for important plant pests across the UK.

Defra is using this tool for informing actions to assess, survey, monitor and eradicate plant pests, helping to enhance UK plant biosecurity. You can read more about the tool here and find a link to the webtool itself, hosted by the Met Office.
