General Comments

Virus found in limited parts of southern and eastern Asia, primarily affecting melons and watermelons. A watching brief will be maintained for any additional information about impacts on tomatoes or cucumbers. Mitigations against entry of the only known vector, Thrips palmi, also serve to mitigate against the entry of this virus.
