Export IT Systems

Plant Health Export Service (PHES)

PHES is the application route to arrange inspection and certification of the majority of plant health controlled commodities – such as plants, produce, plant products, seeds and machinery.  The system is currently available only to commercial and academic entities.  If you are a private exporter and wish to arrange an export of material to friends or family, then please email planthealth.info@apha.gov.uk for guidance.

Written and video guides to help you apply for and navigate the PHES system are available at Plant Health Export Service (PHES).

eDomero

eDomero  is our legacy system which has now largely been replaced by PHES.  If you need to apply for,  certification of products which infrequently require export certification (such as clay and mychorrhizal material) then you will need to apply on this service.

If you need to use this service and have not done so before, please contact your local Plant Health & Seeds Inspector or email planthealth.info@apha.gov.uk.

TRACES NT

TracesNT is an import notification system used by EU member states.  To facilitate your export, your certification details can be entered directly by APHA staff, so avoiding delays associated with the provision of original paper documentation.

Further information on this system is available on the following pages.
