New pest specific contingency plans for Beet curly top virus and its vector Circulifer tenellus published

Two new Defra plant health response plans for findings of Beet curly top virus and its vector Circulifer tenellus have been published on the plant health portal.

These plans describe how the plant health service for England will respond to the findings of these pests, in field grown beet crops and glasshouse grown crops, and include specific measures developed under the overarching Defra contingency plans for plant health in England.

The new contingency plan can be found here.
