Defra is keen to encourage views and comments on the Pest Risk Analyses published on the Portal for review, though we have noticed a recent reduction in comments.

We welcome any thoughts on this trend, for example, are stakeholders too busy to respond – or content with the proposal and have nothing to add? Are the pests being analysed not of concern? Are stakeholders unaware when these documents are published?
