Thank you for all your comments on this PRA. We received a mix of comments, some supporting the PRA and some highlighting potential risks of the pest.

Given the conclusions of the draft PRA, and the comments in support of that, we will no longer be including Pochazia shantungensis as a provisional Quarantine Pest in our spring pest measures. However, we are continuing statutory action on this pest while we investigate the points made by certain stakeholders regarding the risk of this pest. We hope to conclude a position by the end of May.
