Plants and plant products transiting GB

Plants and plant products transiting GB

Plant goods that are under transit across GB (i.e. transported directly from EU to EU member state, e.g. Republic of Ireland to France) are required to be accompanied with a signed declaration stating that the goods are under phytosanitary transit. Goods must be packed and moved in such a way that there is no risk of spreading quarantine pests and disease as they pass through Great Britain to protect UK Biosecurity. There are no requirements for pre-notification of goods entering and leaving Great Britain that are under phytosanitary transit.
